We are looking forward to resuming the HAPC Virtual Grand Rounds series and hoping this semester is the best one yet! Check out the upcoming lectures for this semester here. I am excited to announce that we will also host another Virtual Didactics Happy Hour on Friday evening at the AAHPM Conference in San Diego. Details are coming in the next several weeks – we’ll eventually put out a poll to gauge interest and estimate attendance.
Our presenter, Dr Robin Plumer, has been participating as a prescriber in the NJ Medical Aid in Dying program since August of 2020. She has advised hundreds of patients about MAID through her practice, Compassionate Endings NJ, and has attended nearly 300 MAID deaths at the bedside. Dr Plumer is an enthusiastic educator and advocate for MAID as an option for terminally ill patients. She gave this lecture for the Virtual Grand Rounds several years ago, and this has been the most viewed lecture for our lecture series so far.
