Career transitions for Academic Physicians

Looking forward to the next Virtual Grand Rounds entitled “Stories and Reflections: Advice on Career Transitions for Generalist Academic Clinician Educators” with Dr. Felicia Hui! The timing for this is so appropriate, as most of our fellows are getting ready to leave the nest. Dr. Hui will discuss career transitions within academic medicine and her qualitative research exploring the experiences of academic clinician educators. The research explored the lived experience of career transitions, the opportunities and challenges and the factors that influence the perceived success or failure of a transition.  These transitions in turn affect overall faculty wellbeing and professional development.
