Navigating the Oncology Journey

Can you believe it’s already July? I’m very excited for Dr. Mel Teply’s lecture tomorrow entitled “Early, Middle, and Late: Navigating the Roles of Palliative Care and Oncology for People with Eventually Terminal Cancers.” This is a crossover lecture with our hospice and palliative care boot camp, so you may see some new faces for this lecture. Dr. Teply is uniquely positioned to give this lecture as she spent seven years in outpatient palliative care in oncology before transition to general palliative care this year. She has also been the program director at the University of Nebraska HAPC fellowship for the past five years.
