I can’t believe we’re emailing about a September lecture already! Looking forward to this conversation with Lisa Pahl, LCSW, APHSW-C, about preparing for dementia. This lecture hopes to equip hospice and palliative care professionals with practical strategies and tools to help individuals and families prepare for the medical, emotional, and quality-of-life decisions that may arise with dementia.
Lisa Pahl, LCSW, APHSW-C, is an end-of-life educator, speaker, and owner of The Death Deck, a company that creates card games to make conversations about death, dying, and dementia a little easier. Drawing on nearly two decades of experience as a hospice social worker, Lisa now supports individuals and families navigating serious illness, dementia, and end-of-life through education, meaningful conversations, and compassionate guidance. She believes that talking about the hard stuff can bring greater clarity, connection, and confidence for everyone involved.
