Psychadelics in HAPC

Happy Hospice and Palliative Care Month! On Thursday we’ll have Dr. Keais Pope join the HAPC Virtual Grand Rounds to discuss Psychadelics in Hospice and Palliative Care. Dr. Pope serves as the Assistant Medical Director for Prisma Health’s Hospice of the Foothills in Greenville, SC since 2021 and oversees and provides direct patient care to both home hospice as well as all GIP Hospice patients at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Dr. Pope is extremely passionate about end-of-life care and treating existential pain in his patients. This passion led to him to launching the Hospice Virtual Reality program for Hospice of the Foothills in 2022, with the goal of helping patients check off their “bucket list” items from their beds.
