Really enjoyed this lecture from Dr. Ingrid Berg on “The Relevance and Integration of the Health Humanities in Hospice and Palliative Care.” This will be our last lecture of the current academic year. Ingrid H. Berg, D.O., is a recovering COVID-era rural hospitalist. She is concurrently a Hospice and Palliative Medicine fellow at the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri, and a graduate student in the School of Medicine at Creighton University pursuing a master’s degree in Medical Humanities. Burgeoning academic interests include integrating poetry into clinician continuing medical education and illness memoirs. This fall she will join the palliative care service at CHI in Omaha and the faculty at Creighton as a medical humanities scholar.
