Microaggressions

Always thrilled to welcome Dr. Sonia Malhotra to present another Grand Rounds. This time, she’ll discuss “The Macro Impact of Microaggressions.” She is the JEDI champion for the Virtual Grand Rounds and I’m fortunate to call her a friend and mentor, a friendtor. Don’t miss this lecture!

Dr. Sonia Malhotra is an Adult and Pediatric Palliative Medicine physician at Tulane University School of Medicine where she is currently the Associate Section Chief for General Internal Medicine, Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine. She has been building Palliative Medicine programs in the New Orleans area since 2015. Originally from Long Beach, California, Dr. Malhotra identifies as a brown woman in Medicine with pronouns she/her/hers. She has a keen interest in Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion in Medicine and how to bring humanism back to the practice of Medicine. Lastly, she serves as a faculty and staff coach for the Tulane Anti-Racism Leadership Institute.
